Tehran – Officials from Iran’s Razi Institute and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs held direct talks with Dr. Alberto Canteiro, Venezuela’s Deputy Minister of Science and Technology, to explore avenues for expanding bilateral collaboration in the export of medical vaccines and the transfer of advanced biotechnology.

 

In a high-level virtual meeting on Tuesday, the discussions focused on the Razi Institute’s production capacity and export potential for human biotech products in the Venezuelan market, as well as detailed plans for implementing technology transfer initiatives.

 

The two sides also examined the possibility of deploying specialized teams from the Razi Institute to Venezuela to evaluate local infrastructure, identify market opportunities, and formulate effective marketing and outreach strategies for biotech products.

 

Both parties expressed optimism that the meeting, and future negotiations, would lay a strong foundation for enhanced economic, scientific, and technological cooperation between Iran and Venezuela, fostering greater alignment in their development agendas.
