Terms of Reference
Develop strategies, policies and plans for international cooperation with regional and international organizations engaged in veterinary affairs.
Collect, analyze and exchange scientific and technical knowledge with national, regional and international organizations involved in veterinary activities.
Develop operational procedures and guidelines for international relations and cooperation with specialized organizations.
Coordinate veterinary-related international affairs with the Ministry's Office of International Affairs.
Contribute to the preparation of veterinary legislation, regulations, legal bills and international agreements.
Identify and assess opportunities for cooperation with international and regional organizations to support the Organization's operational and educational objectives.
Plan and organize international conferences, workshops, seminars and technical meetings.
Coordinate official visits of foreign experts and delegations to Iran and facilitate the participation of Iranian officials and specialists in international events.
Monitor and follow up the implementation of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs), cooperation agreements and international protocols concluded with foreign partners.
Cooperate with international organizations including the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH), FAO, WHO, APHCA, ECO, the Mediterranean Animal Health Network and the Codex Alimentarius Commission in developing international veterinary standards and guidelines.
Coordinate international projects in collaboration with universities, research institutes and training centers.
Promote and facilitate the Iran Veterinary Organization's membership and active participation in regional and international organizations.
Prepare and submit reports on animal disease outbreaks and joint international projects to relevant regional and international organizations.
Disseminate veterinary information in accordance with national communication policies.
Coordinate with national and provincial media to communicate the Organization's activities, achievements and public health messages.
Provide timely and accurate information to address public inquiries and emerging veterinary issues.
Strengthen internal communication by organizing regular meetings and promoting effective interaction among staff.
Collect and evaluate suggestions from employees and stakeholders to improve organizational performance and service delivery.
Supervise the preparation and publication of official reports, newsletters, brochures and other informational materials.
Coordinate official ceremonies, national events and institutional occasions of the Iran Veterinary Organization.
