Razi Institute completes quality control process for new FMD vaccine
Tehran - The Razi Institute, with a focus on maintaining excellent quality standards and improving production, has carried out the quality control processes for the new Foot-and-Mouth Disease (FMD) vaccine strain with great precision and sensitivity.
Masoud Ghaderi, Deputy for Quality Assurance at the Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute, congratulated the public on National Quality Day and said that the Razi Institute, with more than a century of activity and service, has always placed its main priority on product quality.
With the establishment of the Quality Assurance Division in the early 2000s and the operation of four main departments - System Improvement, Release Management, Health Management, and Quality Control Management - the Institute has worked to enhance product quality through strict oversight, he added.
Ghaderi said that despite existing challenges and shortages, preserving and improving product quality remains a priority at the Institute. Staff members continue to observe all quality requirements at every stage of production and control to deliver high-quality products that comply with all production standards.
He added that, regarding the challenges posed in the country by the new FMD strain, the Razi Institute has completed the quality control processes for this vaccine with precision and sensitivity, and the vaccine will soon be available on the market to help save livestock.
