Tehran - Pakistan’s Ministry of Finance has approved a proposal from the Ministry of Commerce to review the bilateral barter trade agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The barter trade mechanism, which allows for the exchange of goods without relying on traditional currency settlements, was first introduced by Pakistan in April 2022 for trade with Iran, Afghanistan, and Russia.
