Selected from over 270 nominees across 65 countries, Kandolus was named one of the Best Tourism Villages in the World 2025 in China—recognizing its innovation in linking cultural heritage with sustainable development.

 

Home to Iran’s first Museum of Medicinal Plants (founded in 1986), Kandolus preserves more than 250 species of medicinal and aromatic herbs, many cultivated for domestic and international markets.
