Tehran – Iran's food security has remained unbroken despite two years of compounding challenges, including heightened tensions over the past 14 months, Agriculture Minister Gholamreza Nouri announced.

 

Speaking with journalists and media figures, Nouri stressed that no commodity shortages were recorded in any part of the country, "not even for a single hour."

 

He attributed this resilience to the strength and coherence of Iran's food supply chain, built through the collective efforts of producers, farmers, and rural communities.

 

The minister noted that earlier predictions of a rapid collapse in Iran's food security amid conflict have proven false.

 

He added that foreign officials he met after the recent hostilities had unanimously commended Iran's resilience, with many taking detailed notes on the country's crisis management strategies.

 

Nouri concluded that the international community now views Iran's performance in this arena with renewed respect, with many considering the nation to have emerged victorious from the ordeal.
