Iran to launch hundreds of agricultural projects during Govt Week: Adviser to Minister
Tehran - Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture will inaugurate hundreds of new agricultural projects across the country during Government Week (August 24-30), with investments totaling more than 121 trillion rials, according to the head of the Agriculture Ministry’s Public Relations and Information Center.
Seyed Sajjad Hosseini, also a senior advisor to the minister, shared the announcement in a post on the social media platform X.
“The projects are distributed widely across several provinces, with Sistan and Baluchestan set to launch 263 projects, Khorasan Razavi 207 projects, and Isfahan 134 projects,” he added.
“Funding allocations vary significantly by region, with Hormozgan Province receiving 50,367 billion rials, East Azerbaijan 43,857 billion rials, and Gilan 27,776 billion rials.”
The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that these investments aim to enhance productivity, strengthen food security, and support rural development throughout the country, Hosseini further wrote in his post.
