Iran secures major veterinary accords at Global Health Summit
Geneva – Iran has emerged as a key player at the 100th World Assembly on Animal Health, negotiating three landmark agreements that position the country at the forefront of veterinary innovation and regional disease control.
International Certification of Iran's advanced veterinary laboratories, Regional Disease Control commission for seven nations, and Pioneering Vaccine Research using peaceful nuclear technology are among the breakthrough agreements.
Dr. Alireza Rafieipour, Director-General of Iran's Veterinary Organization, confirmed that WHO-certified inspectors will evaluate domestic testing facilities within months.
"This accreditation means faster test results, eliminated export delays, and greater self-reliance in our $1.2 billion livestock export sector," he said.
