Iran reports 40 percent increase in grandparent stock production

Tehran – Iran's Deputy Minister for Livestock Affairs, has announced a significant 40% increase in the production of grandparent stock in the poultry sector compared to the previous year.
Mohammad Ebrahim Hassan-Nejad said that ongoing revitalization efforts in the poultry industry will ensure that Iran becomes self-sufficient in these essential poultry products by December.
The deputy minister also highlighted a 21% growth in breeder flocks, a 24% increase in poultry production in broiler units, and a substantial 42% rise in overall meat production.
These positive developments indicate a robust and expanding poultry sector in Iran, contributing to the country's food security and economic growth.
