Khorramabad - A new software application designed to calculate precise seed requirements per hectare has been developed by Mohammad Hossein Moradi, a mechanization specialist in Delfan County, western Lorestan Province.

 

According to a report carried by the official website of the Ministry of Agricutlre, the tool enables agricultural professionals, farmers, and students to determine optimal seeding rates by inputting key agronomic parameters, including plant density, thousand-kernel weight, germination rate, and seed purity.

 

The program then automatically computes the required seed quantity for each hectare.

 

Officials say the application is expected to improve input efficiency, reduce production costs, and enhance overall productivity in crop cultivation.
