Tehran – Iran's First Vice President has announced amendments to the regulation governing strategic reserves of essential goods, alongside new measures to complete national stockpiles of wheat and cooking oil, reaffirming the government's full preparedness to meet public needs.

 

Speaking on Wednesday, Mohammad Reza Aref underscored the critical importance of ensuring a stable supply of essential commodities amid the country's current sensitive conditions.

 

"During this session, the regulation on strategic reserves was amended, and necessary provisions were made to complete wheat and oil stockpiles so that no disruption in meeting the people's needs occurs under any circumstances," he stated.

 

Aref further emphasized that through continuous market monitoring and precise resource management, the government will not allow even the slightest shortage of essential goods to emerge.

 

The First Vice President noted that the experience of recent months has demonstrated that by leveraging domestic capacities and public cooperation, the nation is capable of overcoming difficult periods, adding that the path to securing public needs will continue with full strength.

 

"People can rest assured that the government stands with them," Aref stressed. "Through meticulous planning, market stability and household economic security will be preserved."
