Tehran – Iran’s Ministry of Agriculture has launched a comprehensive multilingual website platform in a ceremony attended by the Minister, positioning the initiative as a strategic step to enhance media diplomacy, foster global cooperation, and showcase the country’s agricultural potential.

 

The unveiling, held during the minister’s second press conference under the 14th administration, underscored the ministry’s pivotal role in ensuring national food security and advancing Iran’s regional and international partnerships.

 

The new platform - developed by the ministry’s Public Relations and Information Center after months of dedicated work - publishes 50 to 60 in-depth agricultural reports and news items monthly in four languages: English, Arabic, Russian, and Turkish. Plans are already in motion to add Chinese and French editions, further broadening the ministry’s international reach.

 

Designed to meet global standards, the website highlights high-level foreign visits, international conferences, bilateral and multilateral agreements, and Iran’s cutting-edge research in farming, horticulture, fisheries, and livestock. It also covers strategic projects such as greenhouse cultivation, conservation agriculture, cage fish farming, and the application of artificial intelligence in agriculture.

 

In addition to profiling specialized departments, affiliated organizations, and partnerships with international institutions based in Iran, the platform dedicates a major section to promoting Iranian agricultural exports - showcasing high-value products and investment opportunities to global markets as part of a broader effort to boost the national economy.
