Iran, Belarus vow to boost agricultural cooperation
The Iranian Minister of Agriculture and his Belarusian counterpart reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening agricultural cooperation between the two nations.
Gholamreza Nouri emphasized Iran’s readiness to expand collaboration in key sectors, including agricultural mechanization, livestock and dairy production, and joint ventures in chemical fertilizer manufacturing.
He also highlighted Iran’s interest in increasing exports of agricultural goods—particularly fruits, vegetables, and dried nuts—to the Belarusian market.
Yuri Gorulev, for his turn, reiterated Belarus’s support for Iran’s principled positions and thanked the Iranian delegation for its active participation in this year’s Belarus Agricultural Exhibition held in Minsk.
He welcomed the positive trajectory of joint agricultural initiatives between the two countries.
Looking ahead to the upcoming visit of Iran’s President to Minsk, both sides agreed that three cooperation agreements will be signed during the trip.
