East Azarbaijan to export surplus eggs
Tabriz - Deputy for Economic Coordination of East Azarbaijan announced that the province’s surplus eggs will be exported to prevent losses for local producers while ensuring domestic demand is met.
Speaking at the 121st Government–Private Sector Dialogue Council in Tabriz, Taher Roohi highlighted that East Azarbaijan is the first Iranian province to implement commercial licensing in a fully regulated system.
He also stressed the full use of banking channels, with traders registering agricultural inputs through the “Bazargah” system and financing handled via the Agricultural Bank.
Roohi added that the province is advancing solar energy development, with $800 million allocated from the National Development Fund for solar plant projects. He noted that requests now exceed 3,500 MW, while terrain and high-voltage substations remain key factors in project planning.
