Tehran – Agriculture Minister Gholamreza Nouri emphasized the vital role of the Iranian youth in ensuring the country’s food security and sustainable development.

 

“The youth can play a key role in achieving food security and sustainable development,” Nouri made the remarks on Monday, on the sidelines of a rally marking the anniversary of the victory of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Tehran.

 

He added that the younger generation would also help materialize the aspirations of the revolution.

 

Massive crowds of Iranians thronged the streets of various cities and towns across the country on Monday to commemorate the 46th anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.

 

In Tehran, people converged on the iconic Azadi Square, chanting slogans and waving flags in support of the Islamic Republic.
