Tehran – In a message commemorating National Journalists Day on August 7, Fatemeh Zarean, advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and head of the ministry’s public relations and information center, acknowledged the invaluable role of journalists in disseminating information about the successes of agricultural managers, farmers, and industry stakeholders.

“The high standing and importance of journalists and media professionals, especially in newspapers, radio, television, news agencies, and specialized agricultural publications, in promoting public awareness and technical knowledge among agricultural producers is undeniable,” Zarean stated.

She further emphasized the crucial role of journalists in providing transparent and honest information to the 4.5 million farmers in the country. "Those who, as journalists, have used their pens as a powerful tool to inspire hope and enlightenment deserve our gratitude and appreciation," she added.

Zarean concluded her message by paying tribute to fallen journalists and industry veterans, and extended her best wishes to all media colleagues across the country.
