Tehran – The head of Iran’s Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization (AREEO) said the center is complementing a process aimed at preparing basic rice seed varieties.

 

“In order to improve the quality of rice seeds and boost sustainable development across the country, AREEO has successfully complemented the process of preparing basic rice seed varieties,” the head of AREEO said.

 

The new basic seed varieties would work as “mother seeds”, and will be distributed among farmers as soon as genetic experiments are carried out.
