Tehran – On the occasion of National Veterinary Day, celebrated annually on October 5th, Dr. Fatemeh Zarean, Advisor to the Minister of Agriculture and Head of the Ministry’s Public Relations and Information Center, has extended her warmest congratulations to all veterinarians, faculty members, graduates, and dedicated staff of the Veterinary Organization.

In her message, Dr. Zarean emphasized the critical role of food safety and health in national security, equating it to the importance of food production itself.

She highlighted the Veterinary Organization's century-long commitment to protecting the nation's food supply and its global reputation for excellence.

"Veterinarians are essential to safeguarding our food supply," Dr. Zarean said. "Their tireless efforts, from rural farms to industrial facilities, prevent diseases and ensure the safety of our food."

The deputy minister concluded her marks by expressing her deep appreciation for the dedication and expertise of veterinary professionals.
