Agriculture Minister: Iran’s daily urea fertilizer production at 10,000 tons

Tehran – Iran has achieved its target of producing 10,000 tons of urea fertilizer per day, Agriculture Minister announced on Tuesday.
The milestone, reached with direct support from the President and coordination with the Oil Ministry, marks a critical step in addressing domestic agricultural demands, Gholamreza Nouri said.
"This increase ensures we can meet farmers' essential needs during peak cultivation seasons," he said.
The minister also stressed the urgency of securing adequate supplies of phosphate and potash fertilizers to maintain crop productivity.
He projected that current urea production levels would sustain through early June, particularly as seasonal farming activities intensify under current climate conditions.
