Yazd – The central province of Yazd is assessing the feasibility of exporting greenhouse products to Russia and Belarus as part of efforts to strengthen economic diplomacy and boost foreign exchange earnings.

 

According to the Ministry of Agriculture’s official webiste, a specialized meeting was held with the participation of Mohammadreza Ghaffarian, Director of Horticulture at the Yazd Organization of Agriculture, along with representatives of the Yazd Chamber of Commerce and a trade delegation.

 

The meeting reviewed the proposal to establish an export consortium to improve coordination and expand international market access.

 

Ghaffarian said Yazd, as one of Iran’s main greenhouse production hubs, has strong export potential despite challenging climatic conditions, adding that Russia and Belarus are priority target markets due to high demand and geographical proximity.
