The Razi Institute has announced the launch of a series of seven specialized training workshops aimed at bolstering vaccine production capabilities.

Supported by the World Health Organization (WHO), these workshops will delve into various aspects of vaccine development and manufacturing.

Dr. Rainak Ghaderi, head of the Academic Relations and International Affairs Office at Razi Institute, highlighted the institute's successful collaboration with the WHO to host these workshops.

Following previous WHO-organized training initiatives, the Razi Institute demonstrated its capacity to deliver high-quality training programs in this area, he added.

The planning for these workshops involved extensive collaboration with international partners, including the European Centre for Clinical Research Training (ECCRT), the WHO country office, the Food and Drug Administration, the Pasteur Institute, and other leading vaccine manufacturers, Ghaderi further explained.

Dr. Kai Dallmeier, an international expert in the field, served as the instructor for the inaugural workshop. The ECCRT, a renowned institution dedicated to clinical research training, is committed to providing practical, hands-on training that equips participants with the skills needed to excel in their roles.

The training topics will cover a wide range of subjects, including mRNA and DNA vac, next-generation sequencing, pharmacovigilance, post-marketing surveillance, pre-marketing strategies, updates in vaccinology, and advanced GMP/CMC practices.

By addressing these critical areas, the Razi Institute aims to contribute significantly to the development and production of safe and effective vaccines.
