Lorestan maintains greenhouse exports to Eurasia amid war: Official
Lorestan – The western Lorestan Province has sustained its agricultural exports to Eurasian markets with the head of the province's Agricultural Organization reporting that 778 tons of greenhouse products have been exported to member countries of the Eurasian Economic Union since the beginning of the third imposed war.
Sayyadi, said that export activities have continued without interruption despite the exceptional circumstances brought on by the Ramadan War.
“Since the conflict began, Lorestan has exported 778 tons of products, primarily various types of tomatoes and peppers, to Eurasian destinations.”
He noted that exports to Eurasian countries require strict adherence to international plant health standards and regulations. A key requirement is the provision of a pesticide residue certificate.
Sayyadi confirmed that all relevant laws, guidelines, and standards have been fully complied with in the province's greenhouse product exports, emphasizing that thanks to the efforts of producers, exporters, and relevant agencies, the export process for Lorestan's agricultural products has faced no disruptions, even under wartime conditions.
