Iranian Agriculture Minister in Riyadh to attend UNCCD 16th session
 
Riyadh – The Iranian Minister of Agriculture has traveled to Riyadh to participate in the 16th Conference of the Parties (COP16) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD).
 
This high-level international gathering, held from December 2nd to 13th, brings together government officials, businesses, and civil society organizations from around the world to address the pressing issue of desertification and drought.
 
During his visit, the Iranian minister will engage with counterparts from other UNCCD member states to explore potential collaborations and strategies to combat land degradation.  
 
The UNCCD, often hailed as the "voice of the land," provides a vital platform for nations to unite and develop innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
 
This year's conference aims to strengthen international cooperation and accelerate efforts to restore degraded land and ensure a sustainable future for our planet.
