Islamshahr – Iran's Agriculture Minister said the country is now among the world's five leading livestock

 producers. 

 

"Our dairy industry now competes shoulder-to-shoulder with global leaders," said Gholamreza Nouri

during an inspection of a modern dairy facility in Islamshahr, south of Tehran. 

 

He added, "Iranian dairy products have not only achieved the European market but are now supplied to

premier international food corporations.”
