Tehran – Iran's Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute has achieved a significant milestone, producing 3.5 billion vaccine doses annually.

 

This remarkable output, valued at $400 million, underscores the country's commitment to self-sufficiency in vaccine production.

Dr. Esmaeili, the institute's head, emphasized the importance of domestic vaccine production, stating, "Despite facing ongoing challenges, the Razi Institute has demonstrated its resilience and dedication to providing essential vaccines to the Iranian people."

He further highlighted the institute's ability to sustain and expand its research and production activities, even under the pressure of international sanctions
