Iran Expo 2024 sees strong international presence despite sanctions

The 6th Export Potential Exhibition of the Islamic Republic of Iran, known as Iran Expo 2024, is witnessing a robust presence of foreign trade delegations, defying ongoing sanctions.
According to Hossein Pir-Moazzen, Vice Chairman of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA), a total of 25 foreign trade and economic delegations are participating in the event.
This, Pir-Moazzen stressed, signifies Iran's success in promoting its export capabilities and production levels despite the economic limitations imposed by sanctions.
The focus of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, he highlighted, is on bolstering exports of non-oil commodities. Generating foreign currency through increased exports is a key initiative of the chamber, he added.
Both the private sector and the ICCIMA are actively working to support production and export growth, aligning with the national goal of "Production Jump with People's Participation" for the current year. Pir-Moazzen urged the government to extend its support to the private sector in achieving these export objectives.
