Iran, Vietnam begin partnership on apple exports
Tehran – Iran and Vietnam have launched a new phase of agricultural cooperation aimed at expanding horticultural trade and initiating apple exports from Iran to Vietnam for the first time.
According to the official website of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mohammad-Mehdi Boroumandi, Iran’s Deputy Agriculture Minister for Horticulture Affairs, met with a delegation from Vietnam’s Ministry of Agriculture and Environment to explore ways of enhancing technical collaboration and boosting trade in horticultural products between the two nations.
During the meeting, both sides underscored the start of Iranian apple exports to Vietnam and reaffirmed their commitment to implementing recently signed cooperation agreements, marking a significant step toward deeper agricultural and commercial ties.
