IFO new head appointed

Tehran – The Iranian minister of agriculture has appointed Hamzeh Rostampour as the head of the Iran Fisheries Organization (IFO).
Gholamreza Nouri announced the appointment on Saturday during a ceremony honoring outgoing head Seyed Hossein Hosseini, according to the government news website.
Hamzeh Rostampour brings extensive experience to the directorship, including service as the Ministry of Agriculture's Director General of Parliamentary Affairs and 14 years at the Fisheries Organization as Deputy Director of Planning and Resource Management (concurrently serving as Deputy Director of the National Fisheries Science Research Institute). He also headed the Chabahar Fisheries Research Center.
