Tehran – Iran has made significant strides in its agricultural sector, with egg exports doubling in recent months, an official said.

 

Mohammad Moradi, the Managing Director of the Central Poultry Farmers Union, expressed enthusiasm about the industry's progress, stating that the surge in egg exports has exceeded initial expectations.

The official attributed this success to a combination of government initiatives and the dedication of Iranian poultry farmers.

This export boom is poised to have a positive ripple effect on Iran's economy, generating valuable foreign currency and solidifying the country's position in the global agricultural market. Moreover, the increased demand for Iranian eggs has provided a much-needed boost to the domestic poultry industry.

This impressive growth is a direct result of government policies aimed at supporting poultry farmers, especially those operating on a smaller scale. This targeted support has not only revitalized domestic egg production but has also substantially increased exports.
