Iran, Japan discuss ways to enhance agricultural cooperation

Tehran – Iran's Minister of Agriculture, Gholamreza Nouri, and the Japanese Ambassador to Tehran discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties, particularly in the agricultural sector.
During a meeting in the Iranian capital on Wednesday, Nouri emphasized the close alignment of Iran and Japan's stances on global issues and urged Japan to continue supporting Iran in the face of ongoing sanctions.
He further condemned the imposition of food sanctions by Western countries, calling them a violation of humanitarian principles.
The Japanese Ambassador expressed growing interest in Iranian cheese, exploring ways to streamline the export process to meet this demand.
