According to the information center of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture, managing director of agricultural estates company told, in
the meeting, that: Agricultural towns company, in cooperation with Iranian
Fisheries Organization and other relevant agencies, is launching extensive
plans for the development of shrimp cultivation on the southern and northern
coasts of the country.
Engineer, Mr.
Masoudi, has continued and mentioned: The company plans to increase shrimp
production up to 5 times of its current production by year 2021. He added that:
currently, Iranian manufactured products in this field are exported and even
purchased in a number of countries such as China.

shores of the country.
Congo's delegation
also attended the meeting of agricultural settlements and called for the
transfer of experience and knowledge from Iran to Congo for shrimp breeding.
Mr. Masoudi added: In this regard, it has been prescribed that after the legal
coordination and formalities in the form of a contract or a memorandum of
understanding, these partnerships will be initially piloted and the level of
cooperation will be expanded.
