According to the information centre of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by IRNA, Nabiyolah Khoun-Mairzaiee, at the third
meeting of the Commission on the Protection and Optimization of the Caspian
Living Water Resources and the Management of Common Reserves, told that: The
three-day meeting is hosted by the Islamic Republic of Iran with the
participation of Azerbaijan, Russia, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan in the Iranian
Fisheries Organization.

He then added: In this meeting, the relevant guidelines will
be discussed within the framework of the 2014 Agreement among the countries
bordering the Caspian see, and at the end of the meeting, agreements will be
signed by the participants.

The head of the Iranian Fisheries Organization stated   that: The main purpose of the meeting
is that within the framework of the initial agreement, we sign an agreement
protocol for the 2020. Khoun-Mirzaiee, after pointing out the importance of
preserving the genetic resources of sturgeon, mentioned that: The meeting
focuses solely on issues related to the Caspian Sea and the most valuable
source of this sea, which is its sturgeon, that is the focus of the summit.
