The need to develop the use of digital technology in
agricultural insurance

Adviser to the Minister of Jihad-Agriculture and Director
General of the Ministry's Office stressed the need to develop and employ
digital technology in agricultural insurance.

Saeed Saadat Borojeni told: The use of digital technology in
agricultural insurance should be further developed.

During the meeting, the Deputy Director of the Agricultural
Insurance Fund also presented a report on the latest status of agricultural
insurance and the digital capabilities of the comprehensive and online
agricultural insurance system.

 It is worth
mentioning that with the establishment of this system, all insurance operations
and financial transactions, by providing 300,000 insurance calculation tariffs
and by using new technologies, including damage assessment, is performed by
satellite and remote sensing technology with a greater speed, accuracy and
precision.
