Biography of Dr. Sadati Nejad

Seyyed Javad Sadati Nejad was born on June 22nd 1972 in
Kashan. He is an Associate Professor and a faculty member at the University of
Tehran. He is the representative of the
10th and 11th term of the Islamic Consultative Parliament and the chairman of
the Agriculture, Water, Natural Resources and Environment Commission of the
Islamic Consultative Parliament.

Education and scientific background

After finishing his high school at Imam Khomeini High School
in Kashan, he completed his bachelor's degrees in natural resources-watershed
management, his master's degree in natural resources-watershed management and
his doctorate in hydrological engineering at Mazandaran and Tarbiat Modares,
and and Moscow State Universities, respectively. He has more than 54 scientific
and research articles in domestic and foreign journals, as well as has authored
several books and supervised several research projects in the field of
watershed management and water resources.

Executive and managerial records

He was a member of the central council of the Moscow Islamic
Students Association and one of the founders of the Islamic Association of
Eastern Europe and the Commonwealth of Independent States. In 2002, he chaired
the association, and after returning to the country, he became a member of the
faculty of Shahrekord University and until 2007 he was the vice chancellor for
cultural affairs of this university. Due to his many services, he was selected
as the distinguished Vice Chancellor for Cultural and Student Affairs of the
country's universities and was honored by the Ministry of Science. He was then
elected as the President of Kashan University in 2007.

Due to his considerable services, he was selected as one of
the top five presidents of the country's universities. Since 2011, he has been
appointed as the Legal and Parliamentary Affairs Deputy of the Ministry of
Science, Research and Technology, in which he played a significant role in the
growth of the budget of the Ministry of Science in 2012 and 2013.

Membership in the Jihad Sazandegi Office as the Deputy of
the Watershed Management Department and the executor of several projects in the
flood and watershed management sector in Kashan, 1994-1999.

Performance in the Islamic Consultative Parliament

In 2016 and 2020, respectively, he was elected as the
elected representative of the people of Kashan, Aran and Bidgol regions for the
10th and 11th terms of the Parliaments. His most important actions in the
Islamic Consultative Parliament are as follows:

Approval of the amendment to the Law on Guaranteed Purchase
of Agricultural Products and establishment of the Agricultural Products Pricing
Council with the membership of 3 farmers for the first time in the country

Presenting a plan to strengthen the country's food security
to solve market problems and trade in agricultural products and regulate the
agricultural market

Increasing the credits of the agricultural sector in the
budget bill of 2021

Approval of the decrees required to solve the problems of
agricultural land cadastre in the budget bill of 2021

Approval of the decree to allocate the necessary support and
subsidies for the export of agricultural products for aviation in the budget
law of 2021

Increase of ten thousand billion Rials credits of the
Agricultural Insurance Fund in the budget law of 2021

Increase of ten thousand billion Rials credits of the
Insurance Fund Approval of the provisions required in the Budget Law of 2021
for granting cheap facilities to the agricultural sector

25 cases of field monitoring in the fields related to
agriculture, animal husbandry, fisheries, natural resources and environment of
the provinces of the country
