The city of Damavand is the honey production pole of Tehran
province: The necessity of forming a cooperative of beekeepers

Deputy of Animal Production Affairs of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture, announced that Damavand is the honey production pole of
Tehran province and emphasized the necessity of forming beekeepers' unions and
cooperatives in the city. According to the Information Centre of the Ministry
of Jihad-Agriculture, quoted by Mehr New Agency, Morteza Rezaiee, during the
first Damavand Honey Festival, asked to put a symbol of honey and bees in the
city of Damavand, and told that: There should be no problem in the area of
​​agricultural products, including honey, in this city.

Production Affairs of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture told that Damavand is
the main city of Tehran province in the field of honey production, and added
that: One needs to have a good and unified planning by highlighting the role of
unions and organizations in the area of honey production. Rezaiee also added
that: Branding is a very important process that gives the consumer the choice
and should be taken into consideration.
