Tehran hosting 1st intl. Iran Fruit Show
The first international exhibition of Iranian fruits and vegetables is scheduled to be held in the capital Tehran.
The event will be held in Tehran's Shahr-e-Aftab International Exhibition Center from February 23 to 26.
Representatives from India, Russia, Belarus, Iraq and Turkey will showcase their produce and services at the function.
Six specialized panels will be also held on the sidelines of the exhibition which could be a good opportunity for countries to discuss key issues directly affecting their fruit and vegetable industry and remove any potential obstacles.
Mohammad-Mehdi Boroumand, the deputy agriculture minister for horticulture affairs, will inaugurate the exhibition.
