Sugarcane waste is a good alternative to livestock inputs

The Minister of Jihad-Agriculture said: One of our plans to
provide livestock inputs is to use sugarcane branches, which can provide at
least one million tons of livestock feed needed by the sector and reduce
imports.

He then added that: Issues such as replacing livestock and
domestic agricultural inputs with imported samples and smartening the
agricultural sector are on the ministry's agenda.

 Dr. Khavazi also
added that: One of our most important inputs is chemical fertilizers, which
domestic companies can now produce and provide to farmers, and we are about to
sign a contract with these companies.
