SCIENTIFIC COOPERATION ATTACHÉ OF THE EMBASSY OF FRANCE IN
TEHRAN

The Attaché for Scientific Cooperation of the French Embassy
visited the booth of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute at the Second
Congress and the International Exhibition of Medical Biotechnology Products and
Related Industries (Iran Bio).

According to Public Relations of Razi Institute, Mr. Hadrien
Rozier visited Razi institute's booth to explore opportunities for joint
cooperation with the Razi Institute. The history of Razi institute's
relationship with France goes back to its establishment.

 In 1931 Dr. Louis
Pierre Dulpy, an outstanding veterinarian, arrived to organize a veterinary
laboratory and train a small group of interested Iranians. Moreover, in line
with its activities, the institute collaborates with OIE for improving animal
health, and participates in the annual meeting of the World Organization for
Animal Health.

In 1966 Dr. Aziz Rafiei, the director general of Razi
vaccine & Serum Research Institute became the president of OIE.
Scientifically Razi has always been interested in expanding collaboration with
French Research centers and based on this prospective view, on 2016 the
institute delegates visited French Agency for Food, Environmental and
Occupational Health & Safety (ANSES).

Iran Bio exhibition was held from 25 to 27 January, 2022 in
the Olympic Hotel in Tehran.
