The meeting of Razi Vaccine and Serum Research Institute
with representatives of the three levels of the Geneva headquarters, regional
and country office of the World Health Organization was held on the subject of
technology transfer and improvement of pertussis vaccinal seed at the Razi
institute in 9 November, 2022.

 

According to the report of Public Relations Office of Razi
institute, this teleconference was attended by the WHO Head of Local
Production, Dr. Jicui Dong, and the technical officer, Dr. David Woo, the
regional adviser, Dr. Houda Langar, the deputies and experts of Razi institute
in order to review the technology transfer and transfer of pertussis vaccinal seed.

 

 In this meeting, the
report on the production and research of Razi institute, the existing problems
and obstacles was presented.

The country office of the World Health Organization in Iran
also emphasized the constructive role of the Razi institute in producing
vaccines and providing health in the country and the region, and asked the
regional and headquarters authorities of that organization for support and
assistance in order to meet the needs of Razi institute.
