Production of tomato and pepper hybrid seed pilot in some
cities of Iran

The head of the country's horticultural research institute
said: In the field of vegetable and summer seeds, which are considered to be
within the production jumping projects, the Horticultural Sciences Research
Institute has been working to reach the hybrid seeds of tomatoes and peppers
for many years, and its production has been piloted in Jiroft and Karaj.
Shokrollah Haji-vand stated that: The first 37 cores are made from garden
products that are transferred to the screen house to enter the world trade figures
during a program.

 He then added that: Last
year, we handed over 140 varieties of horticultural products to weaving
companies and four varieties of introduced walnuts and two varieties of jujube
to the private sector.

 Haji-vand acknowledged
the use of green water and low-water plants for the year 2020. He then added
that; Construction of low-water orchards in the pilot areas proposed by the
provinces is on our agenda.
