Production of 11,600 tons of olive oil in the country

The executor of the olive project of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture said: Last year, 11,600 tons of olive oil was produced in the
country.

Rahmatollah Parichehr, the executor of the olive project of
the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture stated: The situation of olive oil production
in our country is favorable and the production of this product has increased
from 3,300 tons in 2012 to 11,600 tons in 2019.

Parichehr after pointing out that the consumption of high
quality olive oil, in terms of chemical evaluation and sensory evaluation, is
targeted for the year 2020, has said: In order to increase the per capita
production of olive oil and its production, it is necessary to have a fair and
timely purchase plan from gardeners.

According to this report, the oil produced in the olive oil production units
in 2020 will be reviewed by these two centers and its quality and type will be
determined with the cooperation of the owners of the oil-producer industry.
