President hails farmers for enhanced productivity, quality
Tehran - Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian praised farmers who have enhanced productivity, improved quality, and reduced costs, calling their achievements worthy of national recognition.
Addressing the 39th National Ceremony honoring outstanding contributors to the agricultural sector on Tuesday, Pezeshkian highlighted the importance of collective effort in securing a brighter future for Iran and coming generations.
He said the dedication of farmers can help deliver greater prosperity for the country and its people.
While commending exemplary producers, the president noted that Iran’s agricultural capacity extends beyond current performance and stressed the potential for further improvement.
He also underlined the need for more efficient and accountable government institutions, particularly in their interaction with farmers.
The president said ministries and administrative bodies must ensure broad access to knowledge, training, and expertise, adding that farmers deserve clear, professional, and timely responses.
