Obtaining a license for a physico-chemical laboratory to
evaluate the quality of olive oil in Iran
The executor of the olive project of the Ministry of
Jihad-Agriculture announced the receipt of a license for a physico-chemical
laboratory to evaluate the quality of olive oil in Iran.
Seyyed Rahmatolah Parichehr, The executor of the olive
project of the Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture announced the receipt of a license
for a physico-chemical laboratory to evaluate the quality of olive oil and
said: The study in this laboratory is in accordance with international
standards. He then added: The International Olive Council, after reviewing the
activities of the laboratories introduced by our country and evaluating results
of the response of the samples sent by these laboratories, has issued their
approval for the sensory evaluation of olive oil.
In the end, the executor of the olive project of the
Ministry of Jihad-Agriculture, after pointing out the standards of the
International Olive Council, mentioned that: Licensed laboratories are
evaluated and verified annually by the International Council in coordination
with the olive project manager, and this significantly helps determine and then
increase the quality of olive oil.
