Nomadic community in Iran : Annual production of 9.5 million
of livestock by the country's nomadic community
The head of the nomadic affairs organization of Iran said: 9 million and 500
thousand head of livestock are fattened and sent to the market annually by the
nomadic community of the country.
Karaamali Ghandali announced this news and said that:
195,000 tons of red meat is produced annually by the tribes in the country,
which has a significant role in providing the meat needed by the citizens.
He went on to point out that 25% of the country's red meat
is produced by nomads, and also mentioned that: Implementation of fattening
plan is effective for the biological balance of livestock and rangeland, and is
added to the annual livestock production.

out: in order to support the production chain, five billion rials of credit
will be paid to the nomadic community this year.
The head of the nomadic affairs organization, referring to the country's
nomadic population, said: According to the last census of 2008, the nomadic
population of the country was 1.2 million in the form of 213,000 nomadic
families, which according to the registration census has reached about 300,000
households with a population of 1.3 million now.
According to him, 35 million hectares of the country's lands
and pastures are in the nomadic community, and this community, with 23 million
head of livestock, owns 28% of the country's livestock.
