Iran’s trade with Kazakhstan rises 27 percent

The value of overall trade between Iran and Kazakhstan rose
20 percent in the past Iranian calendar year 1401 (ended on March 20), Iranian
Deputy Agriculture Minister Houshang Mohammadi announced.

Mohammadi put the value of annual trade between the two
countries at $528 million, saying the overall value between the two countries
grew by 20 percent.

"The value of Iran’s export to Kazakhstan stood at $210
million in 2022, with 27 percent rise in terms of value, and Kazakhstan’s
export to Iran in the same period amounted to $318 million,” he further said.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the deputy minister said Prime
Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov will arrive in Iran on
Wednesday at the head of a high-raking economic and political delegation.
