The construction of a 100,000-ton grain silo began last year in
Chabahar's Shahid Beheshti Port. The silo is being built on a 3.5-hectare area.
An estimated $20 million will be invested for the development of the key
project.

the port play a more significant role in goods transportation to/from Central
Asian countries, particularly the Commonwealth of Independent States.
