Tehran - Iran’s Council for Pricing and Support Policies for Basic Agricultural Products has approved the export of surplus broiler hatching eggs and day-old chicks, the Ministry of Agriculture said.

 

Under the decision, exports will be organized through the Poultry Industry Development Support Fund in coordination with the Association of Broiler Day-Old Chick Producers, and implemented in accordance with guidelines to be issued by the ministry’s Deputy for Livestock Production Affairs.

 

The measure was signed by Agriculture Minister Gholamreza Nouri in his capacity as chair of the council.
