Iran to build livestock vaccine production units in Africa

“Iran is determined to develop livestock vaccine production industry in African nations,” Vahid Salehi said recently.
He added, “We will transfer technical know-how of vaccine production to Africa with the help of both the public and private sectors”.
Noting that the organization has already held a 50-day workshop for Mali experts, Salehi said, “We are currently identifying potential opportunities in the field of veterinary in Uganda, Kenya, and Zimbabwe”.
95 percent of the required animal vaccines in Iran are produced inside the country.
