Iran exports 60,000 tons of eggs to Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar in 4
months
Iran exported 60,000 tons of eggs during the first four
months of the current Iranian year (March 21) to neighboring countries,
according to the chairman of Producers of Egg-Laying Hens Union.
Nasser Nabipour said Iran has the capacity to produce 1.6
million tons of eggs annually.
Iranian eggs are mainly exported to neighboring countries
including Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Qatar.
A total of 1,200,000 tons of eggs were produced in the
preceding year of 1401, 90 percent of which were by industrial units and the
rest by local farmers, he said.
