Tehran - Iran's Minister of Agriculture Gholamreza Nouri extended his congratulations to Cheikh Oumar Ba on his appointment as Senegal's Minister of Agriculture, Food Sovereignty and Livestock.

 

In his message, Nouri highlighted the deep religious and cultural ties between Iran and Senegal, noting that these shared bonds provide a strong foundation for expanding bilateral cooperation across a wide range of economic sectors, particularly agriculture.

 

He expressed confidence that relations between the two countries would continue to deepen under Minister Ba's leadership.

 

The Iranian minister also invited his Senegalese counterpart to visit Iran and take part in the first meeting of the Iran–Senegal Joint Committee on Agricultural Cooperation, an initiative aimed at strengthening collaboration and fostering new partnerships in the agricultural sector.
